And so, the creative, Etsy Corbyn production has begun. With it? A sew-your-own Corbyn, and fuzzy felt card.
Sure, it may seem slightly trivial, the start of merchandise mongering; but think about it, you've got a politically enthused young crowd willing to back a man, and immortalize him in fuzzy felt. To some that may say a lot, and it may say that the Corbyn craze will pass in a bubblegum fashion, but I wouldn't be so naive.
Corbyn has people talking, he has people reacting and we finally have a man in British politics that seems *genuinely* enthused for positive change that doesn't solely benefit the bourgeoisie. If it takes a Corbyn card, Corbyn watercolours and Corbyn candy to get people involved and to get people excited, i'll be backing a Corbyn cuddly toy.
And, for the record, a search of David Cameron's Etsy collective was a knitted, voodoo pin cushion, an election bib and velveteen stress testicles. Stressticles.
While i'm still a member of the Green party following a digital campaign kerfuffle to change before Labour pre-vote, anyone wanting to back Corbyn can join here. Viva La Corbyn Revolution!
